Control Over The Area
There were now officials and heavy artillery there, which only made the locals more curious. However, it was important to stop people from coming too close to such a dangerous situation. In general, the animals tend to weigh a lot. While they had to rescue this elephant, the officials estimated 400 to 600 pounds a day. Two-strong people would not be able to deal with this! They needed to do it carefully, however.
Doing Their Jobs
The wildlife officers then used the excavator. The mud had rooted the calf in place. Aside from that, the rescuers know how these things work and removed the mud without endangering the animal’s life. They started to dig, remove the mud and dirt, and then widen the space to make the rescue possible. It took them hours to do all of these things.
