Blackfish is a documentary about commercial fishermen who take baby whales from the ocean and sell them to places like Sea World. Sheila’s experience is harrowing, but it’s not uncommon. Because animals are routinely abused for entertainment, the vast majority of these species are neglected, resulting in a short and unhappy life. Sheila’s rescuers are optimistic that she will not face similar difficulties.
Handing Over To Experts
The US Department of Agriculture has chosen to hand her over to the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Center, an animal government assistance organization. Sheila was in terrible shape. It’s a charity that helps stranded animals get back on their feet and heal. The news was not encouraging. If Sheila’s condition did not improve, In Sync stated that they would consider euthanizing her. She won’t be able to live for long…
