Treating Jellyfish Stings
So let’s paint the worst-case scenario on the beach. Someone has just been stung by a jellyfish and there’s no-one around with anything that can help… but there’s a great chance you’ll find Coca Cola! The mild acidity it contains can neutralize the sting and ease the pain, all without causing any more harm unlike the use of pee… yes, that solution is an old wives’ tale.

No, we don’t mean tapping them on their left shoulder and then swiping their sandwich from in front of them. That would be funny though. If you’re having a picnic or a barbecue outside, bees or other insects might be attracted to your lovely lunch basket, so you’ll need a plan. Try cutting a plastic bottle of Coke in half (after you’ve drunk most of its contents) and then turn the upper part upside down and slide it into the bottom half. This will work as a trap for bees looking for something sweet to sip on.
