David Gulpilil
This Australian actor and traditional dancer is well known for his character Neville Bell in Crocodile Dundee. Gulpilil’s career took off from there. To be fair, the actor already landed plenty of Aborigine roles prior to playing Neville Bell. Actually, in 1978, he received the A.M (Member of the Order of Australia) for his dedication to the arts and for portraying Aboriginal people.
David Gulpilil Now
Most notably David Gulpilil also starred in Charlie’s Country, Rabbit-Proof Fence, The Proposition, Australia and The Tracker. Unfortunately, the actor has had a few issues off-screen. Sadly, over the years, he has faced a few conflicts in his own personal life. In an incident back in 2006, he got involved in a fight where the actor waved a machete, but they let him go. He was in jail for a year in 2011 because he had assaulted his wife. He also broke her arm. In spite of all this, he has not stopped acting.
