While there was no doubt that their collaborations were bound for success, Wagoner and Parton often argued about Dolly’s career. Their personalities were not compatible as the two of them were headstrong individuals. Eventually, Dolly had no choice but to leave. However, Wagoner filed a lawsuit against her, citing a breach of contract. In response to everything that was happening, she made him sit down as she performed “I Will Always Love You” to him.
