The two daughters of former president Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, Malia and Sasha have become well known due to this fact. Before being sworn into office, President Obama wrote an open letter that was published in Parade magazine to his daughters. He described what he wanted for them and each child in America: “to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach, and to grow into compassionate, committed women who will help build that world.” In 2014, Malia and Sasha were named two of “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014”. To top it off, Malia began attending Harvard University in 2017.
