There was a time when Rolling Stones called Alanis Morrissette the “Queen of Alt-Rock Angst.” This is the truth, so we are not even going to try to argue with that. She has since sold more than 75 million records. Apart from this, she has worked as a record producer too. Her mezzo-soprano vocal range is truly amazing. In 1995, she released a rock album called “Jagged Little Pill.” It sold over 33 million copies and received a rock musical adaptation in 2017. It raked in 15 nominations at the Tony Awards.
