Even though there were lots of other nightclubs throughout New York City, none of them could actually compete with Studio 54, of course. There was something about it that made it stand out from the others, and everyone knew that. Unfortunately, the club closed down in February of 1980.

Just Be Interesting
You didn’t need celebrity status in order to gain entry into the club, although it did help. Many people remarked that you just needed to be interesting, and have something that made you stand out. We’re not sure who these two people are, but we can surely see why they gained entry into the disco club.
