Tone Deaf
Sadly, actress Dawn Wells couldn’t sing at all! Therefore, when Mary Ann needed to sing with the entire cast, Wells improvised. Instead of Wells singing as Mary Ann, her character used lip sync to ensure the singing sequences would still sound pleasant. Some simply thought she could have attended singing lessons, but this seemed to work out just fine.

Alright, so fans really were not buying the whole thing with the Professor. Come on, that man was super handy and could make things with any random object on the island. So, how is it, he could not fix that boat? Well, there was a general understanding that if he did fix it, Gilligan’s Island would have to end. Okay, fine, makes sense.
