Tina The Teacher
Now, our star Tina Louise is a Broadway actress. Yes, she made the movie to the Big Apple, NYC. However, when she’s not starring on Broadway, she volunteers as a teacher in the New York Public schools. Surprisingly, as a second grade teacher, a lot of her students recognize her as Ginger from Gilligan’s Island! Just goes to show you have much the reruns have helped the show to stay relevant.

From all the many episodes of Gilligan’s Island, Tina Louise said filming “All About Eva” was her absolute favorite. To refresh your memory, that was when another red head named Eva washes up on the island. Initially, Eva was a bit of a mess, but Ginger helped her freshen up with a complete makeover. In an odd turn of events, Eva escapes and takes on Ginger’s identity once she returns to Hollywood. Naturally, Tina Louise played by characters and truly loved shooting the episode.
