Katie Couric
Katie Couric is an impressive and successful broadcast journalist. She has a long history in the media. Her career is very progressive, following the awards that received. Little did we know that off the air, she is not the person who we perceive her to be. When you are a journalist, there is a notion that you are relatable, well-mannered, and kind since you will deal with a lot and different kinds of people from all walks in life. Her co-workers do not think highly of Katie Couric. The NBC producer said that no one wanted Couric to come back. In a book written by veteran journalist Sheila Weller, she exposed the real Katie Couric. In her book titled, The News Sorority, Couric terrorized former Today show news anchor Ann Curry. Couric would pick on the clothes that she was wearing before Curry went on air, intending to make Curry lose her confidence while presenting the news. Besides, she would also bully and insult her co-workers a lot; that’s why nobody wanted her to come back.
