Spike Lee has generated a lot of negativities, and there are threads on Reddit talking about it! First-hand experience of people who listened to his speech, maybe from their college ceremonies or seminars. Lee may have been a good director but doesn’t bother much about the feedback he is getting about his personality. He once visited a college, and during his speech, he called the students “rednecks” and “racists.” Not only that, but there is also some feedback when he would cut his address, or if he finishes it, it would feel rushed and not something you can ponder on. Not only do Reddit users have specific stories to exchange about Spike Lee. Know he walked out of the Oscars one time in 2019? He has already won Best Director for BlacKkKlansman, but he was disappointed that BlacKkKlansman was not awarded as Best Picture. Probably out of extreme disappointment, Lee stood up in the middle of the speech and was seen angrily waving his arms, and then he left the theatre.

Jonah Hill
We are familiar with Jonah Hill as a funny guy. He would always portray comedic roles. I guess, as viewers, it is natural for us to think of him as a funny person in real life too. Or maybe just more comfortable to joke around with, you know, someone who makes you feel comfortable. The attitude was witnessed in a 2013 interview with Rolling Stones. He was jokingly addressed as Seth by the interviewer at the beginning of the conversation. Seth is one of his famous characters, so we would think that he will be happy about it or maybe share something about the role he played. What he replied was a blunt, “No, I’m Jonah. That’s a great way to start.” Not only that, Seth appeared to not be in a joking mood, but he was also very disrespectful to the interviewer; he would address the questions as “dumb” or “of little relevance.” Jonah Hill was featured in another interview. Ornella Fleury interviewed him. Ornella Fleury was a weather girl turned comedian in France. Hill was promoting his new film War Dogs. Fleury made remarks on Jonah Hill’s film; This is the End. The jokes were laughed at by the audience, but Jonah didn’t seem to be enjoying it. Hill remarked, “I’m glad I came on this show to get ridiculed by your local weather girl.” The jokes that Fleury said may have been not in his taste; however, Fleury was just doing her job as a comedian. In the end, Fleury apologized to Jonah Hill, and after this incident, Jonah Hill decided to cancel all his press events in France.
