Spike Lee
Spike Lee has generated a lot of negativities, and there are threads on Reddit talking about it! First-hand experience of people who listened to his speech, maybe from their college ceremonies or seminars. Lee may have been a good director but doesn’t bother much about the feedback he is getting about his personality. He once visited a college, and during his speech, he called the students “rednecks” and “racists.” Not only that, but there is also some feedback when he would cut his address, or if he finishes it, it would feel rushed and not something you can ponder on. He has already won Best Director for BlacKkKlansman, but he was disappointed that BlacKkKlansman was not awarded as Best Picture. Probably out of extreme disappointment, Lee stood up in the middle of the speech and was seen angrily waving his arms, and then he left the theatre.
