Gheorghe Muresan – 7’7″

Romanian-born Gheorghe Muresan may not have been the best NBA player, but he was certainly one of the tallest. Muresan stands 7ft 7in tall, a quarter of an inch taller than Sudanese midfielder Manute Bol, making him the league’s tallest player. He was also the tallest individual in the whole European Union. But Muresan used his height for more than just basketball; he starred in the film “My Giant” with Billy Crystal, appeared in Eminem’s rap video for “My Name Is,” and co-authored the book “The Boy’s Fitness Guide.”
