There was a rumor that floated around were Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan played 48 holes of golf the night before the Game 4 of the 1993 NBA Finals to exhaust Barkley. Barkley denied this rumor, however, there might be some truth to it because the Bulls took a 3-1 series lead. Michael Jordan and Danny Ainge used to be close friends up until the 1993 NBA Finals. Danny guarded Michael and Ainge took an elbow to the face. MJ thought that Ainge was turning it into a big deal. Danny grabbed the ball from MJ’s hands while Jordan stuck a finger in Ange’s face. Both players were given technical fouls while Ainge was even given a personal foul.
