When Plucas would leave the house, Emma would actually cry for him to come back! Plucas, too, admitted feeling like something was missing when Emma wasn’t with him. Apparently, both of these Lithuanian men felt deep and strong bonds to these wild animals they rescued!

Sure, it wasn’t just men adoring these animals. Also that fawn grew very close to someone besides her human caregiver. After a bit of time, the fawn bonded with Sasnauskas’ Bernese Mountain Dog named Mack. Actually, Mack would always lick the fawn’s face! Clearly, the love went both ways. Sasnauskas noted that Mack’s fatherly instincts were kicking in, as he became a foster dad for the fawn.
