A decade after the wedding, the couple was blessed with a son called Dylan Paul. Bart and Nadia were slowly but surely beginning a family of their own in the United States. In an interview with Isabelle Kumar, Nadia was asked where she felt more at home. The former gymnast responded by saying, “I am a Romanian, but I am adopted by America.”

As he was growing up, Dylan was initially under the impression that they were just regular parents. However, he soon realized he was wrong about that. One day, the little boy just got back from school when he asked Nadia, “Do you know that you’re famous?” Nadia only laughed and said yes before she showed him pictures of the competitions she and Bart took part in.
