Unfair Scoring
Yet again, Nadia managed the impress the spectators and judges alike. She gave more flawless performances, though there was another challenge ahead of her. The judges took a conspicuous amount of time to deliver her scores and Bela Károlyi started feeling suspicious. When the scores were revealed, they seemed too low for the quality of Nadia’s performance. Her coach made a scene and it was caught on tape. Some people felt like his reaction embarrassed his country and Bela was suddenly worried about his safety when they return to Romania.
