John Fox was a great coach for the Carolina Panthers and was set on settling down in Charlotte. Later on, he became head coach for the Chicago Bears which forced him to leave Charlotte. As a result, he and his wife sold their house. The asking price was $7 million, but they ended up selling it for just $2.1 million.

Larry English & Nicole Williams – Hollywood Hills, $3.4 Million
Another retired NFL star, Larry English and his wife, Nicole Williams, make quite the pair as she is a great designer. The two were able to purchase not one, but two properties and sell them over the past couple of years due to their combined earnings. One home was in the Hollywood Hills and was stunning, designed in an all-white color scheme. The couple bought it for about $2.57 million and ended up selling it for $3.4 million. We can only assume that they fixed up the place a little, but the price they sold it for is still fantastic. Today, they are temporarily living in a rented property in Hollywood Dell.
