Arizona Heat
The situation seemed to work against him, yet John concentrated on the yard. The infamous Arizona heat was, of course, entirely sufficient, rising to Fahrenheit in three digits. Given this, John decided to let it go hoping that something valuable would be discovered. He didn’t find anything even with his dedicated effort. Was it just the story, a rumor? Sims went on rather than giving up.

Though he dug four different holes in his backyard, John got nothing. Even if something was under the lawn surface, it could have been ruined or crumbled. John knew that because of the frustration he felt, he could not give up. He knew he had to keep thinking out of the box. Instantly, he had an idea of how he could find anything in his yard. .
