Walk the Line
In 2005, Reese Witherspoon played the epic part of June Carter in Walk the Line alongside Joaquin Phoenix. It took the actress six months(!) to learn to sing and play instruments. And let’s not forget she earned the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, BAFTA Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Critics Choice Award for the role.
