Both of Reese’s parents were in the medical field. Her mom worked as a pediatric nurse and nursing professor while her father was an otolaryngologist or ENT. Thus, it didn’t surprise many when she said if she could be any other profession, she would choose to work as a pediatric cardiologist.

Circus Prep
In order to prep for Water for Elephants, Reese attended circus school for three months. During that time, she worked on trapeze and acrobatics with Cirque de Soleil performers. Hey, she also had a history as a gymnast, so that definitely helped out.
