Beck David Campbell, better known as simply Beck, is popular for his extraordinary ability to go into different musical styles and genres. Over the course of his career, he has written songs in different genres like Americana, alternative, folk, hip-hop, pop, and more. He is an incredibly talented musician, that’s for sure. His mainstream success began when his 1994 single called “Loser” came out. The song went on to become even more popular when it was released in his album Mellow Gold later that same year. It shot him to international stardom and it did not take long before record labels began fighting over him.
