Although she was best known for her work in adult film, she did make a successful transition to mainstream projects. Many refereed to her as “porn’s most famous crossover”. Sadly she passed away in 2009.

Canadian-American actress, dancer, and singer Yvonne De Carol experienced a ton of success in the 40’s and 50’s. Her breakthrough role was in 1945 in the film Salome, Where She Danced. Afterwards she continued to enjoy much success in film and TV before retiring in 1995. Carol sadly passed away in 2007.
