It was only a matter of time before Rousey received a cover for the “Body Issue” magazine, given her rising popularity. You might think of “Body Issue” as the “Sports Illustrated” of ancient Sparta. It features mega athletes displaying their hard-earned athletic physiques on glossy pages. Rousey was delighted to take part in the activity since she considered the idea to be art. The most important thing that she wanted to convey was that one does not have to give up their femininity in order to get athleticism. In a meaningful statement, Rousey stated, “I am capable of being a fighter and being tough while still maintaining my femininity.”
