When Rousey was eight years old, she was the victim of a horrific tragedy. Ronda and her family went sledding during that winter, and it was the moment when their lives were permanently altered. In a skiing accident, her father fractured his back. He was a sledding enthusiast. Ron was rendered immobile from the waist down as a result of a blood issue that had not been identified before. This condition was preventing him from mending correctly. The fact that the doctors only gave him a few more years to live caused him to spiral out of control, which ultimately led to him killing his own life off.
