Learning from Mom
It was when Ronda was 11 years old that she began her training with her mother. After putting in a lot of effort and learning everything she could about judo, she eventually became powerful enough to accidently break her mother’s wrist. This moment occurred a couple of years later. When Ronda was just 15 years old, she entered the Olympic squad, demonstrating that she was a natural fighter to begin with. She made history by becoming the youngest American to ever reach the position of number one in her weight category the following year, when she was ranked number one in her weight category.
