NASA Spacesuits
One day, the students Skyler Ashworth and Talia Rappa went out to look for clothes at a thrift store around Florida. They stumbled upon some NASA spacesuits on the rack – six suits, to be exact. They couldn’t help but check the spacesuits out. After checking, they were able to purchase the NASA uniforms for only 20 cents each! Take note, the spacesuits they bought were the official 1980s-era suits. Later on, they found out that they were actually worth so much more. Their suits were worth $5,000 each!

Picasso Poster
Zachary Bodish had his usual route through a thrift store near Columbus, Ohio. While walking down the shelves of posters, he spotted this reproduction Picasso poster, and he was immediately drawn to it. For only $14, he was able to purchase it. Later on, as the art was in his possession, he discovered that it wasn’t a replica! It was but a linocut that the artist Picasso made himself. Eventually, he decided to sell it to a private buyer for $7,000. For Zachary, it was a damn excellent return.
