James Bond Watch
There was a British man who came to notice this watch at one of the parking lot sales. He bought the watch for $35. The British man was immediately thrilled when he discovered that the watch he bought was the same watch that the award-winning actor, Sean Connery, wore when he once starred as James Bond in the film Thunderball in 1965. Later on, he eventually sold it for a profoundly shocking $145,000. I bet he was so thankful the moment he spotted the watch in the parking lot sale.
Frank Weston Benson’s Painting
This painting was previously donated to the Columbia-Willamette Goodwill. It was a long-standing nonprofit chain with a range of pre-owned clothing, furniture, housewares & more. Its staff put the watercolor painting up on sale for $10 only. As it has been displayed for quite a while, someone got to recognize it as a watercolor painting by American artist Frank Weston Benson. He was best known for his impressionist and realistic portraits. No wonder that this painting really got some attention. Later on, it was sold for a staggering $165,002!
