When he was cast as Sugar Watkins in the film, he was a relatively unknown actor. Prior to this film, he had only appeared in minor roles in five short films. His career took off after he appeared in Starship Troopers. He went on to star in critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Still Alice and Tar. His most well-known roles, however, were on TV shows like The Good Wife, Law & Order, Bull, and Teen Wolf. He is most well-known for his recurring role on the television show Breaking Bad.

Patrick Muldoon As Zander Barcalow
Patrick Muldoon portrayed Zander Barcalow, a pilot on the Rodger Young when it crashed on Planet P in Starship Troopers. He is Johnny Rico’s archrival because they both have feelings for Carmen. Throughout the film, Barcalow fights him tooth and nail for her affections. Even though he doesn’t have a good reputation because of his relationship with the main character, it was entertaining to watch him meet his end. The Brain Bug, in the end, more than made up for everything he did in the film.
