Her acting career did not take off immediately after she finished the film. In fact, it didn’t take off until 2001, when she starred in the comedy Road Trip. When she starred in Rat Race and then Scotland, PA, an indie adaptation of Macbeth, her star grew even more. Aside from these projects, she also worked on two successful films. She starred opposite Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect and then in Starsky and Hutch.
