A New Start
The road to college had been long and hard for Elin, who needed to work part-time yet was hardly making it. Her luck quickly changed, however, when during one of her shifts at a Stockholm store, Elin met a lady looking for a nanny. The lady was actually the wife of famous golf player Jesper Parnevik. Since Elin did not want to miss the opportunity presented to her, she decided to drop out of college and leave her family and work in Sweden behind.

Elin knew very well what moving to a different country would mean – she would be leaving behind not only her family but also her long time boyfriend. Still, she was really excited to live in America. Sadly, the distance eventually led to Elin and her boyfriend breaking up and she was now single. However, this did not last long as the Parneviks soon introduced her to their friend.
