His wife and parents both appeared on Magnum P.I., and even though they had small roles, it’s still pretty awesome that Selleck pulled some strings to make it happen. Jillie Mack appeared in the fourth season, in the Rembrandt’s Girl episode.

Since celebrities don’t talk much about which political parties they’re associated with, it can be hard to know just where they stand. However Selleck was different in his approach as he didn’t hesitate to make his political affiliations known. He openly announced that he is a Republican while endorsing John McCain. He also is a member of National Rifle Association as well as the board of Directors.
