To begin with, the couple both originate from different corners of the globe. Rachel was born and raised in Mississippi Delta, during her time growing up she experienced many situations that were inter-racial. Aaron thinks he also had very similar experiences because he was the only blonde-haired, blue-eyed lad in his hometown. Rachel started attending missionary trips from when she was a young girl, this led her to the decision of wanting to accept more responsibilities and projects.
