Protecting Guitar Strings
Not only can you use WD-40 to clean your guitar strings, you can also use it to protect them from damage. But here’s the tip you should probably know before you get stuck into your guitar: spray onto a cloth and then hug the strings by putting your thumb on one side and your four fingers on the other. Then simply slide up and down.
Preventing Splinters
Just like a varnish, WD-40 can ensure that your rakes, mops, brooms and other single-sticked utensils stay strong and splinter-free. Any time you notice your broom (and others) getting a little weary, just spray and rub and know you’ve just extended their lives.
