She first started as a stage actress. Mirren used to work in the Royal Shakespeare Company. She made a smooth transition to the film industry in Shakespearean plays adapted into movies due to the time she spent in the theater. People easily noticed her in the movies she was in. She then starred in blockbuster movies like Hitchcock and The Queen. She is one of the few to have won the “Triple Crown of Acting”, which indicates that she got a Grammy, a Tony and an Oscar! Wow!

Similar to Mirren, Annette Bening started in the theater. She studied theater in 1980 in a university. She then joined the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Company in 1980. Bening starred in productions like Macbeth and Pygmalion. She debuted in the small screen in Manhunt for Claude Dallas. Her small role in that film launched her acting career. In the 90’s, she received many nominations in her work in the movies such as American Beauty. To this day, she still has an active acting career.
