Young Talent
One day, six-year-old Nadia showed off her cartwheels on the playground when she was playing with a friend from kindergarten. The pair had been too busy playing that they did not notice they were being watched. Her stunts impressed the couple Márta and Béla Károlyi, both of whom were gymnastic coaches. At the time, the pair had been scouting the playground for fresh talent and decided that the two children held much potential. They followed the little girls in the hope that they could join them.
