It was not surprising that Elin chose to keep a low profile while everything was going on. For one, the whole thing was shocking and mortifying, and considering the incident with the golf club, she was likely seething with rage. The world was curious about what she was thinking during the whole ordeal. The wanted to know if Tiger ever tried to convince her otherwise and if she thought about staying with him in spite of everything. There were a lot of questions but one thing’s for sure, she found a lot of reasons to be strong.

With everything that had happening, Elin grew more and more alone. Fortunately, she could turn to her twin sister, Josefin. To get far from the trouble, the two ladies went on a trip to the French Alps, which was also their way of celebrating their 30th birthday together. Elin’s troublesome husband had an upcoming tournament and she left him to take care of it by himself. She did not feel a particular need to be there for him to support him.
