Gold and Silver
In 1975, the young gymnastic star made her debut in Europe during the European Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Skien, Norway. Nadia was able to take home the gold medal for nearly every competition she joined. The one she did not end up winning still earned her the silver medal. She was only 13 years old but she was already making waves in the field!

The American Cup
The following year, the budding gymnast left Europe to participate in the American Cup in the United States. It served as some sort of warm-up competition for the Summer Olympic Games that was held in Montreal later that year. The world was impressed by the talented teenager who managed to earn perfect scores. How impressive is that?!
