Lynda Carter

This former Miss World America (1972) moved on to become the original Wonder Woman. Of course, she played the same role in the television series of the same title in until 1979. She continued acting after the said show and even released her own songs. She joined the cast of the movie The Dukes of Hazzard in 2005. You can also see her in Super Girl, Sky High and Super Troopers 2 (2018).

She started playing tennis at the young age of five and succeeded in becoming a tennis star. She became a world champion and enjoyed that title for many years (1974 to 1981). In addition, she won the “Sportsman of the Year Award” in Sports Illustrated, making her the first woman to earn such title. Since she retired from tennis, she focused on coaching and working as an ESPN Analyst. She has also opened her own sports apparel line. She and Serena Williams are tied for having six wins in the championship of US Open.
