Waterford Police Chief Scott Underwood issued a statement saying that his department received multiple complaints Diggy being in Waterford. That’s why he sent officers to Dan Tillery’s home, so they could inspect the animal. “The dog was presented to officers and based on their observations, it was determined the dog was part pit bull/pit bull terrier,” Underwood said.

Dan did admit that the officers were cordial and that he also didn’t take the citation personally. “I don’t think they have a vindictive edge against me; I think they have an ordinance and they have to enforce it,” Tillery said. I’m not sure I would react the same as Dan but hey, that just goes to show how good of a character he is.
